| Route Description: |
Route Type: Out and back This course is deceptive. No doubt Free State courses are notoriously flat, almost to the point of distraction. Not so this race, it is not flat and certainly not boring. There is the ride through the understated city of Bloemfontein followed by some of the platteland’s most beautiful scenery out on the N1. Leave something in reserve, for the drag back to the finish can be punishing.

| Editor's Notes: |
The OFM Cycle Classic has been consistently ranked by the Bicycling race judges as a well organised and well presented event. Over the last three years it achieved distinction as South Africa’s seventh best race overall. It was also voted the fourth best road event.
This race will be staged for the tenth time in 2010. It is one of the biggest cycle races in Central South Africa and is a qualifier for the Argus Cycle Tour. There is a 35-kilometre fun ride held at the same time as the main race, as well as a Kiddies Classic race held the day before. Contact the organisers for details. Finishers: 4000 |
